A teenager remains behind bars after he was refused bail in Parramatta court on Saturday charged with the stabbing murder of a 20-year-old man who was having a haircut in Bossley Park.

Fredon Butros, 18, appeared by video link from Amber Laurel prison where he sat quietly while his lawyers told the court their client wouldn’t be applying for bail and it was formally refused by magistrate Robert Rabbidge.

Police allege Butros circled the Classico Hair Salon in Bossley Park on his dirt bike several times on Friday afternoon before pulling up in the rear lane, where officers say he then ran in with his helmet still on and plunged a knife into the neck of 20-year-old Alfredo Isho while he sat in the barber’s chair.
